Regular Monday

Usual Monday night "lace" evening, spent chatting and playing Rummikub.

A select few tonight at my house, 4 of us - one is recovering from hip surgery and the other is travelling out of county to attend a meeting so they could not attend.

One of our friends is going through a course of chemotherapy treatment following removal of a lump from her breast and removal of lymph nodes. She has had her first session and apart from getting very tired is positive. Her hair has started to fall out but she has the wig appointment all lined up ready and realistic about wearing a scarf or some sort of head covering for a while. :). This friend always has difficulty when playing Rummikub, wanting to put the numbers in reverse order!

Lots of laughter and cake/coffee to keep us going through the evening.
