Think: promenade, seagulls, sea (of course), sun (yes, really) and pier (behind me)! And a flat-calm sea with hardly a ripple, haze on the horizon, kids in the paddling pool (just to the right of me), ice cream, and the camera obscura on the hill at the north end of the bay. This was an idyllic Aber. Saturday ... but the horizon-haze and the early-morning mist spell Autumn. Summer seems to be receding.
