Everything is getting too tall...

... and my slice of sky is getting smaller! Actually, I took this photo from grass level so it is a little exaggerated, but those frothy, white flowers are about 15 feet up and the bamboo is about 9 feet high. But the real intruder on my slice of sky (and sun) is a beech tree that is also stealing the light from an apple tree... but who wants to cut down an ancient beech? I wander past it muttering "pollard" but does it shake? Not a leaf! Do I worry it? I don't think so!
