Good Samaritan (x200)

Well not the end I was hoping for after 7 months and 2,000 miles of training but the perils of a marathon came back to bite me today. After a horrific nights sleep of anxiety lining up at the start line I was totally exhausted. After 21 miles I was bang on my schedule for a big PB then 2 miles later - boom. The legs totally went, running into curbs and walls with little that can be done. Next thing I know I have St Johns Ambulance surrounding me on the Embankment after fainting. Up I got and went again. Then this chap, whom I will forever be grateful to, stopped his race, sacrificed a great time, and literally carried me at snails pace as I struggled to even stand up for 2 miles so I could finish. My time is irrelevant, needless to say I didn't get what I intended, but the spirit of the marathon and mankind was very much shown today

This guy is unbelievable
