Castle Beach

After a lovely long lie in, Princess and I nipped up to Stithians to take tents down. We had planned to go to Maenporth to meet the walkers at the finish but decided it might be a bit chaotic, especially as it would be the rising tide approaches big high tide.

Instead we went to Castle and of course a text came in the minute we started our picnic to say The Boy's group were already on the bus back to the camp site! Princess and I gulped our dinner and returned to Stithians.

Unfortunately, Eldest's group were caught up in the 2 hour wait for a minibus back so we ended up hanging around for a bit. Fortunate really as I'd left the house keys with MrRoly... By the time she arrived, the cloud had arrived and MrRoly and Smallest had had enough if the beach.

Anyway, both older offspring weary and achy but very happy and full of it to have done another C2C - next year Princess can join in too...
