D went off to Dunfermline whilst I listened to my inner nerd and took part in the March of for Science. It was very well attended and there was some excellent sign-age. When I got home it turned out that D's train back had been cancelled (shortage of staff) so I ate alone and he got a fish supper in Dunfermline. We shall not speak of the football (but I saw the clip of the dive forward roll).

When I walked up the Canongate after the march I saw a charming scene outside the Canongate Kirk, which is the extra - I like the composition which was entirely forced on me by having to poke the camera through some railings at an angle.
