Under the flightpath

Back to Mottram Church for a second visit.

Today was a Glossop Camera club outing. The weather was very different today, blue skies and a hot sun and there were many more visitors for the 2nd Heritage open day.

There was a striking difference in the effect of the light within the church and more noticeable today was the endless queue of planes lining up to land at Manchester airport.

Guess what one of the other club members said at one point - "You've just missed a small Tortoiseshell".

I had missed it so I snapped a different flying object instead.
