Demo Time

You wait months for a good cause demo to come along, and then there are two on the same day. Today was the sixth Pedal on Parliament; we’ve been to two before and once again the weather was extremely kind. You cycle from Middle Meadow Walk to parliament via George IV Bridge and then down the Royal Mile. The view near the parliament is one of the extras. The other demo was the March for Science; Edinburgh had one of over 600 being held throughout the world, on Earth Day. It went from Waterloo Place and through Abbeyhill to the Parliament. The banners were really good and imaginative and the speakers thought-provoking. My blip is of two pertinent messages and I have also included two others in the extras.
