We Marched Today for Science

Gainesville, Florida...more than 2000 people marched today in support of Science and the Scientific Community. I overheard one Police Officer say to another that it was the largest march he'd seen in G'ville! Our march coincided with marches across the Planet today. What a great way to celebrate Earth Day! When the marchers reached their destination, Bo Diddley Plaza in the heart of Beautiful Downtown Gainesville, there were tables set up by various organizations. Take a look at my *extra*...this child was meeting a very large and very tame Boa Constrictor at the Natural Resources Diversity Initiative table. What a Great Day!
