Baltic in Beadnell

Last day of our week away.  Our first stop on the way home was Cragside.  It was mobbed.  We headed straight to the play area, where BB played for a short time.  It was already busy and he is probably a bit big for the park now, so he didn’t want to linger.  We went for a walk around the lakes, explored the labyrinth, went on part of the trim trail and then decided to head off.  We picked up some supplies for a picnic and headed over to the coast.  Our plans to go to Craster  were scuppered as everywhere was so busy, with not a parking space to be had.

We continued up the coast, stopping at Beadnell.  We had our picnic in the car, the boys kicked a football on the beach, followed by a very short walk along the beach as it was freezing – very bright and sunny, but a very cold wind.  We then headed home and had a quiet evening.
