Snake's Head Fritillary
It was a lovely sunny morning, so I got the washing on. Once there wasn’t a spare inch of clothes line left, I went out for a run. It was much colder than my run last Sunday and I wished I had put my gloves on. It started to notice some rain spots, and then it rained. All I could think about was my washing!
BB came back from church with a goody bag of chocolate after the Easter egg hunt, and he brought me an Easter egg. He seems to have an impressive haul of Easter eggs, which surprised us when we saw them all sitting together.
We pottered for a while before heading to Dunbar for a walk along the cliffs and round by the harbour. Once again I wished I had worn gloves. We stopped at the supermarket on the way home, but forgot milk. Once home, BB and I went out on a Pokémon and milk hunt that had to take in a visit to the co-op.
I have caught up with a couple of back blips today, and will sort out the rest in the coming days. When I was hanging out my washing this morning, this fritillary caught my eye. When we moved here there were a small number of fritillaries which appeared every year, then they disappeared. This is the first one I have seen in two or three years. It therefore merits being blipped today in case it disappears again!
