Friday: Downtown View

I had a meeting this morning at some pretty swanky offices - the type with living walls, 'think spaces' for staff, corner offices for partners, 'knowledge areas' (aka libraries), as well as more tea, coffee and doughnut facilities than you could shake a stick at. That's not to say I disliked it - au contraire, it made me a bit sorely aware of our little offices where we had to negotiate to get a coffee machine and we're incapable of looking after one spindly plant pot. They had very nice views too.

I met up with K and W after work - they'd had a good day walking round town. We headed into Gastown for a drink and some dinner - then home.
