Just in case you thought Zagreb was full of Austro-Hungarian splendours, it does have its share of Yugoslav/communist efforts too. Personally, I actually quite like this style here.

I went to a meeting today about some very worrying political developments, related to media freedom, civil liberties etc. There is a fair bit of concern over the direction the new government is taking........
