I Woz Dared! (Water Nymph No.2)

Larger ....

On August 14th whilst peering into one of my small ponds and hoping to find a frog to blip, I'd noticed my reflection, framed by fairy moss and overhanging trees, on the still water. In the absence of any frogs I thought it'd be a good blip (quite bold for me as I don't usually like doing SPs - I was comfortable with it though as it's not a proper, clear SP). So I blipped it as Water Nymph.

A couple of weeks later a pal of mine, who's not a blipper but likes to see my pics, was looking at it whilst we were together. She giggled at the title and commented that I should have done it in true water nymph style and taken the blip to look as if I was in the buff. I'd said that my garden's so private I could have actually done that for real. More giggles ensued. Then she said she'd bet I wouldn't have the nerve to do it (I know why she said it as anyone who knows me well - as she does - knows that sort of statement can be a bit like a red rag to a bull for me, as I love a bit of a challenge). Of course I couldn't let her get away with that could I? I said too right I'd have the nerve. More giggles. So she dared me - and I do enjoy a dare! It's not as though anything significant would actually be visible in the reflection - I'd make sure of that, I don't want to get myself booted off Blipfoto!
Today's beautifully hot and sunny - perfect conditions for it - and I've had nowhere to go and had ample time for it. So I've finally done it - and it's been done (to quote the wonderful Cupid Stunt, aka the late, great Kenny Everett) in the best possible taste!

But my pal knew I would .... lol. I suspect there'll be lots more giggling when I see her again next week! Was I really au naturel? Only I know the answer to that .... lol

Have a great Saturday Blipmeisters! xx
