For our last morning in Liverpool 12yo and I wandered up to see the cathedrals and the universities before coming back into town through Chinatown.
We spotted this text fragment coming down Duke Street. I've now learned its one of several works by artist Lu Pingyuan which are dotted about the city, installed as part of last year's Liverpool Biennial.
In extras, the Chinese Arch, and post box of the day: a 1932 George V Type E with integrated stamp machine :)
Back home now, and a quiet weekend ahead of me. Although I also have a bunch of marking to catch up on before getting back to work again on Monday.
