Exciting Spring visitors!

The pair of Black Throated Divers are back on the loch. It was a wet morning and the wind was making waves, so it was surprising to see them as I passed. Some of the shots showed just a head ,the rest of the body hidden. This is the male and he was displaying . Another shot showed him with a reed in his beak, presumably a gift for the female. She was tending to stay in the bay.
Driving back, saw a large bird struggling to fly above the road. As I passed underneath it, was delighted to see it was an Osprey with a fish in its talons!
