Canada Goose

Took this on a walk in the park. It was a cool brisk late afternoon and the resident Canada Goose was in Scudder Pond. I think she has a nest nearby. She took a thorough bath while I watched. The extras are of her bath. I love how the water just slides off her feathers.

I spent time with Arvin in the afternoon. He was very tired and had real difficulty with balance. I later talked to Helena and found he was light hearted and in good shape during her earlier visit. I think he was just done with his day's worth of energy when I got there.

Steve came over for dinner and we played several games of Carcassonne and watched a couple of episodes of Heartland. I think he's getting hooked.
