Kapiti Island, North Island

We left home at 4am this morning to be in Picton to catch the ferry to Wellington by 7am. We had a great sailing across the Cook Strait, nice and calm although at that hour of the morning it was cool.

We arrived here on the Kapiti Coast mid afternoon, set up the caravan and went down to the beach. The sun was starting to set by this time, and was an ideal time to get my blip for the day.
