Home boy

Here we are. Home. 10 days after setting off for a normal Monday at school. Strange how much has happened in a week.

Transport in the form of a bus-type ambulance arrived to take us back home about 9:30 and by 10:00 we were in the house breathing big sighs of relief at the swapping of one form of incarceration for another.

For although our ambulance transport got Alex up to our house, he can't get out again unless he figures out how to get onto his crutches and down the front steps.

Indoors we had enough to contend with. Working out where he would sleep, which toilet would work for him, and how to manoeuvre into a shower.

A friend of mine arrived to visit, which cheered us up.
