View from May 15th Bridge

A funny kind of day. A cleaning lady that didn't happen. A lunch that didn't happen. What's app messages with Barrioboy that didn't happen. Mid afternoon I decided I had to make something happen, so I went over to Zamelek and got out the taxi on May 15th Bridge because I had the luxury of time and just for a change. Nice to actually take in the view and not just see it flash past from the taxi. The island of Zamelek is on the left here and the Agouza Corniche is on the right. The British Council is between the tall thin coloured billboard you can see on the right and the marquee type structure. I wandered from the bridge and eventually ended up in Sequoia with a table with a Nile view for an early dinner. I ate too much!! At least I walked 9,000 steps. This week off between courses is disappearing fast! Summer seems to have arrived and it was over 30 today.
