Map My Swim

Had a swim at Southend this afternoon. I went with two friends. We entered the sea at a point called Harry's Bench.
We had left our clothes tucked behind a boat at the back of a beach hut.
We swam along the shoreline to a restaurant called Ocean Beach. It was pretty cold and got quite choppy so the swim back was quite difficult.
I was in the lead and had failed to look for a landing point.
I led them half a mile further on.
We ended up running along the road side in our bare feet, with tow floats and costumes to get back to our clothes. It must have been a strange sight. Lucky the men in white weren't around. I'm still giggling about it now.
