On The Beach

At Longniddry Bents. We had it all to ourselves, apart from some dog-walkers. 

Equipped with spades and pails, beach tent, picnic, we huddled in the dunes and made forays down to the sand and the rock pools. 

The sun shone, the thermometer said 6 degrees, coats and wellies were the order of the day.

We finished up with ice-creams from Luca's in Musselburgh. Little N has been initiated into the traditional family visit to the seaside. She loved it.
