Local Celebrities and Knickers

Another long night of sleep, wake, feed, sleep, wake, tuck in, sleep, wake and ssssshhhing with Audrey. Am so worn out. Managed about 4 hours broken sleep last night as it was midnight before I got to bed after our date night. The price you pay!

Diet went out the window today as did my exercise programme. I carb loaded and frothy coffee'd it instead. Felt very guilty this evening :(

Met up with a friend on Beech Rd earlier and sat next to our local celebrities - comedians John Thomson and Justin Moorhouse as well as the chap who plays Peter Barlow in Corrie. We have quite a celeb contingent in my neighbourhood, especially hanging round the cafes on our street. Always makes for interesting people watching!

Mum and Dad swung by for some Audrey cuddles at lunch. A right pair of lovestruck Grandparents they are too. They are off on their jollies for a fortnight and got the feeling, they'll really miss her.

Audrey did her usual today. She was lovely in the morning but took a slow nosedive in mood through the afternoon. By the time 6pm came, I couldn't take much more and my husband came home to find me bent over her crib trying to sooth her, half asleep and half crying myself.

It's been a long week.
