St Mary the Virgin, North Stoke.
This afternoon, we started at North Stoke, to complete the section of Thames path we did a few days ago. One of the first points we came to was this fascinating church. It is very old, with the part in todays Blip being built between 1230-1240. There are also some 14th century wall paintings which I have shown in todays extras. One of the joys of doing this walk, is finding so many interesting places along the way. I don't know if my Dad ever visited this church but I know he would have been very interested to do so.
