Easter Day
Customs old and new today. First painting hard-boiled eggs (missing out the onion-skin ritual) - we all had a go at that. While the paint dried, N had a egg hunt - chocolate, this time. It had to be indoors, as it rained all day. But she still thought it was the best fun ever.
We gave up waiting for the weather to improve and went out to roll the eggs. Our front garden is on a steep slope, so we didn't have to go far.
A's (extra) reached the bottom intact and she was pronounced the winner. The wreckage has been left to the badgers and foxes who usually do a good job of hoovering up anything edible.
The baby's in bed, the stove is on and there's a lot of chocolate still to be eaten. Nice.
