Saturday: Wickanninish Beach

We have had a very full, outdoorsy day. We drove down to Ucluelet, the southernmost point on Vancouver Island's west coast. It was beautiful, such differing beaches, landscapes etc. Then we explored Ucluelet proper and more of the beaches on the coast (all full of surfers and huge waves). An added bonus was a walk through the local rainforest, which was just rich, green, dripping and fabulous.

A trip wouldn't be a trip without the local microbrewery - namely Tofino Brewing Company, where I bumped into someone I knew from Vancouver.......
