Duthie's Daffies
It was a lovely sunny morning, but some showers after lunch and a couple in the afternoon, but remained with sunny spells and a fine evening, although it's chilly :)
It's my weekend on in the museum, and been on the desk all day. It's been a steady day, but quiet after our busy day yesterday. I've had a quiet evening, a few walks with Sammy, and then off to work in the pub later.
I had to nip home at lunchtime, I forgot my lunch, left it on the kitchen table! I managed to get a walk while I was home too. I popped by friend Robert Duthie, and his garden is in full bloom with daffodils and other spring flowers. The old sycamore trees seen here are thought to be the oldest ones in Shetland, Robert's mam is 93, and says they were a fair height when she was a bairn! There's also apple and plum trees in the garden, lovely fruit during the summer. Taken at Westshore, Scalloway.
