Liner Fae Broons Rod

A fine sunny day, but a couple of heavy showers in the morning, and more showers this evening.  Not overly warm, but fine in the lea.

I've been working all day on the museum desk.  It's been a busy day with a cruise liner in town.  I was out in the morning to collect some photos, and there was an Easter March going around the town, with one man carrying a cross, bit odd but they seemed to be enjoying it.  I was also on the radio tonight, thankfully I never heard it.  Think it'll be a quiet evening on the sofa.

The first cruise liner of the year came in this morning, and heading out later tonight.  It wasn't a traditional liner day, slightly better weather as usual :)  There is 76 liners due in this year, with over 60,000 passengers expected.  This is the AIDAvita, with 1200 passengers, berthed at Morrison dock.  Taken from Browns Road, Lerwick, and local man Ertie Laurenson heading home to his house.
