Pining for the Fjords

Now you may think you know a dead fly when you see one, but...

This is the famous Norwegian Orange fly.

It is unusual in that it likes sleeping on it's side. Remarkable fly the Norwegian orange, look at that beautiful colouring.

It has not passed on, he has not ceased to be.

In fact if you look closely you will see he moved.

Of course I had to nail it down a little, or he would have flown orrff, but do not worry, he is not an ex fly......... honest.
