After the excitement of yesterday!

Thank you, everyone who commented yesterday on the Tall Ships photographs. By popular consent, the shot of the sailing ship and the Shard should have been my blip.

Back to more mundane today. A morning at the gym followed by an afternoon session at the outdoor gym, more commonly known as the allotment. Weeds growing well, as are the peas in the foreground and the broad beans in the background. The cloches cover another row of peas and another of beans.

The weather has been so dry down here, there's been no rain for almost 3 weeks. The BBC weather app promised "Heavy Rain" this morning. Not a drop. Having to water the seedbeds to help germination.

An interesting tea, omelettes for 5, all wanted something different; no onion, no chilli, no chorizo, but yes to mushrooms. Had 3 pans on the go to cater for everyone's whims.
