Matt and Joshua
This is my little big brother and his shiny, new son, Joshua, who was born on Tuesday. I'm not much of a one for coo-ing over babies but even my hard heart was quite melted by how ridiculously cute he is. All are doing very well and it was a real treat to spend the morning with the littlest member of our family. Nice to see my mom too who has been down with them this week looking after their 16month old.
Before this outing I squeezed in a quick first of the term, coffee with the parents from J's class who we have been doing this with for about 4 years. Theoretically we have less than that left but I hope we will carry on regardless of whether or not there are children needing us to walk them to school. We used to mainly talk about the children but these days they are lucky to get a look-in and it is generally a very jolly way to start the weekend.
Home for a long, long work call which was good partly because there may be a new piece of work heading my way but mainly because it was with just about my favourite person to work with. It is a shame she lives the other side of the pond but with the joys of Skype we seem to have forged a productive and joyful working relationship.
Now it is time to head off to the first Purple Diamond's game as the five-a-side season kicks off.
Happy weekends to all!
