The Marsh Meets the Sea

Today was my birthday, so I chose to do several outdoor activities like drive down a road I have never traveled and found this undeveloped area where the marsh grasses and water almost touch the beach sand and sea.  To the right of this scene are the last buildings at North Myrtle Beach, SC and the first accessible beach north of here is Sunset Beach, NC.  There is a serenity here and the absence of development I found enriching, especially I am blessed by having another birthday.  The enlarged version provides a better view.  Sorry for the shortage of posts and comments, especially today.  The date of my birthday is the date of Lincoln's shooting, and he died on the 15th of April, but not the same year as my birth (-:
