A Place in the Woods

3 things I don't like about returning to Michigan from Florida.

1. I hate to go from all things green to all things gray.
2. I hate to leave my shorebirds for my Michigan birds (although I did see a Cedar Waxwing today!)
3. I hate to go from soft spreadable butter to butter you can't cut with a knife.

The all things gray part (#1) is not entirely true. We have perhaps 3 colorful things right now. The daffodils I posted yesterday, some little blue flowers, and these yellow blooming bushes.

If I were a bird...I'd live here.
