Caples Camp

Apparently you can camp in the Caples Valley as long as it's within 50m of the track. At least that's what the RNWOTUCV told us.

Cunningly diguised as a late middle-aged hut warden who really shouldn't be allowed to interact with the public. But this lovely view was before we had made her aquaintance. This was a cool, crisp start that would take us past the Upper Caples Hut (thus avoiding the RNWOTUCV) and camping just off the track (27m - I measured it) in peace and quiet.
