To Rawtenstall this afternoon. A few notable sights included the Halo Panopticon, on a hilltop near Haslingden; Fitzpatrick's which is "thought to be" the last original temperance bar, opened in 1891, where I enjoyed a glass of ginger beer; an Easter fun fair; some specialist shops; and a carpet store selling any colour you want so long as it is green.
