Watch the birdie

We were on childminding duties this morning so decided to visit the RSPB hides at Frampton marsh.  There were plenty of birds to see.  Our spotting list consisted of greenfinches, goldfinches, Canada geese, Brent geese, shelducks, avocets, ruffs, redshanks, black headed gulls, coots and swans. We had coffees and hot chocolates in the main hide and the grandchildren coloured in a few bird identification sheets.
