today's another day

Shelves

I have an office at home, with an old CD rack I use as shelves above my desk. They contain many things, its a bit like the tray game at parties, bits of this and that, some to remind me of things.

So from left to right we have:

2 football programmes from Scunthorpe and Fleetwood where I have been interviewed as the Rochdale fan in the know.

ARKEOLOGY....By World Party. Its 5 albums and diary book. Some new tracks, live stuff, all brilliant. If you've never checked them out then do. No albums for 10 years, then 5 at once.

Tiny Stations...a book about remote, often unmanned stations on our railways.

Ian McMillan's To Fold the Evening Star, poems and prowse, and plenty of laughs.

Falling and Laughing by Grace Maxwell, partner of Edwin Collins, lead singer of Orange Juice who recovered from 2 brain haemorrhages.

A Bradshaws Guide which was a secret santa present on twitter...who knew I was a train spotter?

The Lyrics of Chris Difford. Pure poetry before Glenn Tilbrook puts them to any tune.

A book about closed tube stations...that are still there, that you can find.

A book about finacial wellbeing (need to re read)

Then, the second section has all sorts, Morph, business cards, medal for winning gokarting, toy bus for commonwealth games, pic of me and sister when kids, my drawing of Dobcross, a contact lens, paperclips, a pen holder from Cheltenham festival.

3rd one, a pottery policeman I made at school in 1983, watercolour painting of Bruges by my dad, dice, felt plectrums, earphones and an Easter card.
