Short Cut to Niagara

My Dear Fellow,

These are the stairs from India Street down into Stockbridge. I've always been very fond of them, although they are better in Autumn and Winter when they take on a Harry Lime vibe.

Given that I'm not going to be here for Autumn & Winter, this will have to do. If it helps, imagine I'm playing the zither.

Today was another uneventful day at work, although I once again got complimented for doing I don't know what. I ask other people questions and get them to do things. I don't really think that's work. That's just being a pest, surely?

Apparently I am REALLY good at it.

I am giving Marilyn another whirl by the way. Tonight, I am watching Niagara in which she is in full-on glamour mode. She even wears make-up in the shower in this film, and red lipstick to bed. Clearly, there is something wrong with me, because the first thing I thought of was, "Those are WHITE sheets she's sleeping in! That's going to be MURDER to get out!"

I suspect I've been a househusband in charge of laundry for far too long.
