On guard!

We've done lots in the garden, but one of the most dramatic improvements took about 10 minutes when I cleared the dead growth from our pond irises! I was glad to see that our plastic heron has been doing his job well, keeping his relatives away, as we still have at least 6 fish swimming around having survived another winter. Taking away the dead growth has made the pond look huge!
Looking forward to the new growth now and it all looking a little less bare, the flowers are very delicate when they come.
