Tiny Tuesday #98 - Food

This copper headed skink caught my eye as Cousteau and I went for a walk this afternoon. It was looking for food  and was also trying not to be food for some of the larger beasties which were also lurking around. Okay, I'll admit, I didn't know there was a sub-theme to this challenge!

So, the extra photo shows it next to a leaf which is 3 inches long. I was totally beguiled by this little cutie; it didn't seem too bothered by me so it let me get very close and posed beautifully for me!

Apart from that, I had a cuppa with a friend this morning and popped around to muminlaw's this afternoon. She's recovering well from her latest cateract problem, so fingers crossed she'll be able to read again soon!

We're in the middle of a Skype committee meeting for the pilgrimage we help with every October. I'd better pay attention.
