Lovely light

These leaves on the nectarine tree are starting to drop off like nobody's business. I see that as a good thing; they're soooo pretty!

I've been spreading the autumnal joy today among my students, getting them excited about the changing leaves and seasons. It's a bit contagious!

So, day one of Term 2 done. I finished at lunchtime (I'm 0.9, so just part-time) and came home to do some marking. Then I took Cousteau to the vet's for his jab and on to pick up Little Miss and her friend KC from school to take them to basketball practice.

I popped in to see the inlaws on my way home and helped them with a mini-technology problem.

Home to do some more marking, before taking Cousteau for a walk.

I cooked prawn fried rice for dinner. Mr B and I have just finished tidying up and I've made the lunches.

About to settle down for a bit of TV for an hour or so before we all head to bed.
