Mono Monday : : Corner

These two handsome fellows were sitting next to a corner table outside at Acre coffee. From the fixation of their gaze inside the store, I surmised that their person was in there getting coffee. They were not only well behaved, they were extremely suitable for a mono shot. The only thing that doesn't show up in a mono shot is the fact that they each had one blue eye and one brown, giving them a fierce visage which belied their gentle demeanor.

I must confess that although I thought I understood the cloud, I clearly do not. I pay $3 a month for what seems to be adequate storage for my photos, which now appear in their entirety on my phone, my iPad and my Mac. The only place I need all 16,000 of them is on my computer, but I am getting messages from my iPhone that I can't take a picture until I 'manage' my storage. And they mean it. I can't. Settings tells me that I am using the majority of my storage for photos, yet I can't erase the photos from the phone without erasing them from everything. So where are they? Are they still in the cloud? And if so, how do I access them if I've erased them from all my devices?

At the moment I am laboriously going through all 16,000 photos and deleting the ones I don't want. Here's what I've learned:

1. It takes forever
2. I feel like deleting most of them. I hope my photography has improved. I'm only in 2013!
3. The only way to get an appointment with a genius, is to go into the Apple Store, demand an appointment and hang around the dreadful mall until the appointed hour.
4. Don't take seventeen pictures of the same thing hoping that one of them will be better than the other sixteen. It won't.
