Adder!

I was in the area so decided to go for a walk on Whixall Moss. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye and it was a beautiful green adder! I didn't have time to focus before it disappeared into the undergrowth so it's a poor shot but I was so thrilled to see it. It has a bulge soI don't know if it's an expectantmother or it's had a good meal! Thankyou Fairweathergirl for correcting me.

The extra is a shot of a reed bunting that was feeding on catkins on one of the trees on the Moss.
