A Lonely Puffin

A breezy day, mostly overcast, the sun tried to get out, but failed.

My weekend off, and slept well this morning.  After breakfast I got out with Sammy,  whilst waiting for the washing to finish.  It's been a great drying day, managed to wash two loads, and also got my household chores done.  Went to Sumburgh for a run this afternoon.  Off out with friends tonight, but can't stay out long, as I'm having to cover a shift in the pub later.

I headed down to Sumburgh Head to see if the puffins were returned home, and yes they have :)  There weren't many back yet, the odd one on various cliff ledges, and the odd puffin zooming past whilst out fishing.  This peerie guy looked quite lonely on his own, hopefully his friends and family will return soon.
