Recycling

I saw these bike wheels getting carted into the allotment last week so today had a close inspection of the resulting geodesic pea-frame. It's a pretty impressive construction with twelve wheels around the base to start things off but I'm not too sure how practical it'll prove. The peas will be fine (at least until the wood pigeons suss out how to get at them) and there are a few strawberry plants protected on the inside but access is igloo-like with one removable wheel giving a crawl space. Maybe the plot-owner's idea is to rope his kids into doing the hoeing, weeding and harvesting? If so, he might be disappointed with the strawberry harvest!
