Catching the sun

Just to prove we had sun today, in fact it has been a glorious day. Of course we aren't cleaning up from flood waters and very grateful Debbie changed her path.

The rose was the first photo I took on my early morning walk and the only thing I have done to it is angle it a bit. It looked odd straight up and down.

My day hasn't been overly busy. I visited the elderly neighbours for a chat, walked twice it was so good to be out. I decided the garden wasn't quite ready for the next round of tidying up so read a book and edited some of the scanned photos.Easing in to a weekend of Kai Fest. A new festival based on the wonderful food our region produces. Some music and sun and it should go well.
