First Impressions
I finally arrived at Birmingham University after a longer than anticipated drive. The north-bound carriageway of the A34 was closed due to a lorry fire so I sat in slow traffic as we progressed our way around the problem. On arrival I was immediately impressed by the architecture on the campus. It varied from the traditional red brick buildings like this one pictured, several of which had great domed roofs; to modern clean cut buildings. Feels good to be in a university environment - I enjoy the vibrancy of learning and sharing of ideas with people from across the world.
