Mahonia.

I noticed the name of this plant when looking at jankerman's  journal. It grows in the gardens around the back entrance to our complex. Today, apart from a brief trip to the local shop, I have been at home with my granddaughter. She is still doing schoolwork which includes learning poetry. Tomorrow my eldest daughter, her aunt, arrives for the weekend. I  will miss the company next week, although I shall probably go out to lunch or/and  the cinema with friends.
