Glenkinchie Distillery

Last day of Sharon's stay. It's been a wonderful if busy few days with my school friend. So fab to find that we still get on as well even 19 years since we last saw each other. She's over from near Seattle to do the Brighton Marathon this weekend. It's been great to run with her and catch up on so many years. I will back blip the last few days when I get chance.
Today we went to Glenkinchie Distillery for a tasting tour. We dropped the boys at box soccer camp and headed for the first tour of the day. It was really interesting as I've not done a Distillery tour for many years. We had a tasting at the end - I just sipped as I was driving so they sent me home with my leftovers :-) I also treated us to a lovely bottle of Cao Ila a whisky from Isla.
We then had lunch at Archerfield, collected the boys then headed over to South Queensferry for fish n chips at Harry Ramsdens with fab views of the 3 bridges.
We then dropped Sharon at the airport for her flight back to Gatwick and the pre-marathon prep.
We came back to play tig outside until A got home.
