Culture in The Capital

We had a slightly lazy morning where I spent some lovely quality time with my Grandparents (introducing them to Snapchat, much to their amusement). I felt a little lump in my throat as I said goodbye to them both, which caught me a little by surprise.
The Mother, L'il Sis and I then headed to Cardiff to meet The Stepdaughter. We lunched amongst some very excitable students taking part in a Varsity event. They appeared to have made drinking a sport anyway!
We then pottered around the shops, enjoyed a coffee in the sun before heading to the museum where I was delighted to see a Francis Bacon exhibition. There were some fantastic pieces of art on show from a private collection too. Li'l sis' was engrossed and appears to have caught the 'art bug' much to my delight. I've been waiting for a fellow enthusiast for a while now.
A lovely tea cooked by the Stepdaughter and an evening of catching up.
